Valentino’s spring/summer 2027 fashion show at Paris’s Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève centred around the ‘anti-library’, the idea, drawn from Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s account of Umberto Eco’s collection, that unread books are more valuable than read ones because they mark the limits of what we know.
