Stat: US car buyers’ interest in electric vehicles at an all-time high

Research from EY released in June 2023 suggests that among the US consumers planning to purchase a new vehicle in the next 24 months, nearly half (48%) intend to buy an electric vehicle (EV) – up by 19 percentage points from 29% in the 2022 EY Mobility Consumer Index.
