There was a resurgence of avant-garde design on show at New York Design Week 2014. Sight Unseen OFFSITE, curated by Monica Khemsurov and Jill Singer, offered a trove of experimental work in a 200ft warehouse space that captured the current maker-focused zeitgeist of the city’s design scene.
